On December 22, 2021, the President of Econiya Iryna Varagash and the Head of the Ukrainian part of the Joint Ukrainian-Chinese Business Council, Ambassador Ihor Lytvyn, signed a Cooperation Agreement.
According to Iryna Varagash, the Joint Ukrainian-Chinese Business Council attracts Ukrainian business because it is currently one of the powerful tools of bilateral cooperation between Ukraine and China.
“And it’s not just at the level of potential for the exchange of experience between our countries, but at the level of specific assistance to Ukrainian business – measures, initiatives and projects that allow us to understand the risks and opportunities of entering the Chinese market. I am sure that such collaborations of businesses of different countries with specific help and exchange of applied experience will gain more and more popularity in the future, – noted the president of Econia.
“My team and I were pleasantly surprised by the scale of applied assistance that UKDR currently offers its members: here you can get the business contacts you need first-hand during forums, discussions and conferences, business trips to China, access to the local Chinese business community. They will tell you how to quickly establish relations with local entrepreneurs, give advice on the peculiarities of local legislation, customs procedures, peculiarities of cooperation with local banks, requirements of certification bodies, intellectual rights, help overcome the language barrier. For our part, we would be equally interested in sharing our product creation experience and business development with colleagues in China. I am confident that this cooperation will not only be a significant push for the company to enter the Chinese market, but also a powerful platform for my personal development as a CEO,” said Iryna Varagash.
The president of the Econia company added that she received from the co-chairman of the Ukrainian-Chinese Business Council, the former ambassador of Ukraine to the People’s Republic of China Ihor Lytvyn, an offer to lead a new direction – the Ukrainian part of the Council of Women Entrepreneurs, which is planned to be created as part of the Ukrainian-Chinese Business Council.
“It would be an honor for me to represent Ukrainian business women and the business community of my country at such a high level, I will definitely consider this proposal and give an answer in the near future,” said Iryna Varagash.
