Econia has confirmed compliance with the international standards ISO 9001: 2015 and ISO 22000: 2018

Econia successfully passed the certification audit and once again reconfirmed its compliance with the two international quality standard systems: the quality management system according to ISO 9001: 2015 and the food safety management system according to ISO 22000: 2018

According to Svetlana Krit, (director of systematization and business development), «We have not simply passed the planned certification, but also successfully completed the transition from ISO 22000: 2005 to ISO 22000: 2018».

This transition includes a high-level structure with requirements for implementing a process orientated approach, and managing the context of the organization (which means that professionals should know all stakeholders, including government authorities, competitors, managers, and what they should expect from the company and what way of communication they have to choose). 

This standard places great emphasis on external and internal communications,risk analysis and management. More attention was also being paid to the assessment of changes in the system, especially with regard to the personnel. 

According to Svetlana Krit, Econia has successfully passed the audit, with a score of 100%. This result was ensured by each employee of the company with their active participation, professionalism and responsible approach.

Both certificates of conformity will be valid until January 2024.
